Grown in Puglia, made in London. Renegade have taken a slightly unloved grape variety from a poor region of Italy, and created an elegant wine that's medium bodied, soft and silky - with parma violet and cardamom aromas and a palate of cherries and figs.
Made in two batches, one tank was fermented wild using only naturally-present yeasts, while the other half was fermented in a chilled tank using a new and aromatic yeast strain to add a fresh, clean and directional aroma profile. This wine was then aged in a combination of New French oak and secondary French oak barrels.
ABV: 12%
