Dukkah is an Egyptian condiment that is used for sprinkling onto fresh vegetables or as a dry dip - tear some bread into pieces, dip it in oil, roll it in dukkah and EAT. We also like to add it to scrambled eggs or pasta sauces for a fragrant, nutty twist. This dukkah is based on Nikki's own family recipe.
Ingredients: hazel nuts, sesame seeds, coriander seeds, cumin, salt.
Dino and Nikki, aka the Chef and the Shoegirl (she's got a lot of shoes!), make all of their products in Stroud Green and sell at many of the local farmers markets.
