An unfiltered, amber lager with a toasty malt character in the Festbier-Märzen style, brewed with Munich malt, Weihenstephan lager yeast strain and Mittelfruh
hops. George-in-the-East was an area near Mile End known as ‘Little Germany’ where German immigrants settled in the 1700s.
Ingredients: water, barley, hops.
Established in 2011, the East London Brewing Company celebrates the old and new brewing traditions of East London - including creating an annual green-hopped beer brewed with hops grown in the gardens, pots and allotments of residents of Waltham Forest.
