A Tottenham-made version of Portugal's pastéis de nata, with a slightly salty puff pastry and milk-based custard.
Ingredients: Syrup (Cane sugar, water, lemon zest, cinnamon), milk, fortified wheat flour( wheat flour , iron, niacin, thiamine, calcium carbonate), unsalted butter (milk), water, whole egg, egg yolk, corn flour, salt. Also baked in an environment where peanuts, nuts and sesame are present.
Celtic Bakers, based in Tottenham, is a craft bakery making a great range of Soil Association certified organic breads, cakes and pastries. All of their food waste is either recycled into animal feed or donated to local community projects.
