Hodmedod, British Grown Camelina Seeds 300g

Camelina or Gold of Pleasure, came to the UK from south east Europe with the first farmers. They valued its nutritious nutty oil and seeds. In recent years the crop has been all but forgotten, replaced by other oil seeds and completely lost from baking - until now.

Instructions: Soak 1 tablespoons of seeds in 3 tablespoons of water to replace one egg in baking. Soak in fruit juice or water for use in smoothies, or sprinkle onto salads. Try adding a few teaspoons to your bread, pastry and pasta.
