Pitchfork is a full bodied, nutty cheddar from Trethowan’s Dairy in Somerset. Its name refers to a tool used in cheddar-making to toss the milk curd whilst mixing in salt.

Ingredients: Unpasteurised cow’s milk, animal rennet, Starter Cultures, Salt.

Brothers Todd and Maugan Trethowan began their careers on the family farm near Llandewi Brefi in the Teifi Valley, Ceredigion, before moving to Somerset - driven by the desire to use organic milk from a single source to maintain quality and taste.
